Former Louisville basketball star and NBA center, Felton Spencer, passed away on Sunday, as announced by the university.

Spencer played for Louisville from 1986 to 1990, helping lead the Cardinals to three consecutive Metro Conference tournament victories and two Sweet 16 appearances.

Spencer set a still-standing record during his Louisville senior year, averaging 14.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, and a remarkable 62.8% field goal percentage.

Spencer was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves as the sixth overall pick in the 1990 NBA Draft.
