Kelsea Ballerini showcased her creative interpretation of heartbreak through her musical guest debut on the recent episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Travis Kelce.

The country singer performed two tracks from her latest EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, which draws inspiration from her divorce from ex-husband Morgan Evans.

For her first performance, She appeared onstage wearing a skin-tight black outfit to sing "Blindsided," accompanied by a silhouette dancing in behind a lit-up screen.

In the lyrics, she questioned whether her ex-husband was blindsided by the end of their marriage or simply turned a blind eye to the issues.

Later on in the show, she returned to sing "Penthouse," a slow ballad that showcased her vocal range, while dressed in a flowing white gown.

In this song, Ballerini sang about the difficulty of moving on and how sometimes, people choose to ignore the signs that a relationship isn't working out.

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans ended their almost five-year marriage when Ballerini filed for divorce in August, and the split was finalized in November.
