Alex Scott has revealed that a 'psycho' Uber driver in Russia tried to 'touch and kiss her feet' while covering the 2018 Moscow World Cup for the BBC.

The 38-year-old football pundit shared that on work trips, the BBC insists that staff use official, pre-booked vehicles.

However, she was out for drinks with a friend in the evening and opted to take an Uber to her hotel with a male driver who turned her moments into a 15-minute drive.

She says the only way she escaped was to convince the "sicco" that he was a friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin - whom he had met earlier that morning.
