The Panthers lost a veteran wide receiver in DJ Moore, traded for the first pick of the NFL draft. However, Adam Thielen's arrival on a 3-year deal will help fill the void.

According to ESPN, the Panthers have announced a deal with Thielen which will last for three years, as confirmed by a league source.

Last week, Thielen visited Charlotte to explore free agency and met with the Panthers.

Even though he departed without a contract, a league source confirmed that both parties expressed interest in reaching a deal.

As per a league source, the Carolina Panthers also had a meeting with ex-Detroit Lions wide receiver DJ Chark on Friday. The team remains open to signing him as well.

Last season, Carolina's primary wide receivers returning were Terrace Marshall Jr., Laviska Shenault Jr., and Shi Smith. Together, they recorded a total of 77 receptions.
